The Checkers are coming to the Concours d'LeMons!

The Concours d'LeMons is moving onto the same property that will host the Concours d'Elegance of America. Checkers mingling with Duesenbergs, sure it sounds like a good idea, I mean, what can go wrong?

This year the Checkers are coming.  Ok, let’s face it, it’s a Checker not a Rolls Royce or a Duesenberg!  Get over it!  The Facebook Checker Cab Group, the largest single Checker club in the world will be showing up to let the world see how wonderful these iron work horse are in person.

The Concours d’LeMons Michigan will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Inn at St. John’s, in a corner of the parking lot near the dumpsters. How fitting. But hey at least we are on the property of a major concours. All of regular Concours d’LeMons hi-jinx will ensue, capricious judging, bribery, awful trophies and even worse cars. If you take yourself or your car very seriously, this isnt the show for you.

Hagerty Insurance has has stepped in to add a shred of legitimacy to this farce so be sure to thank them for the laughs. The best part is that the show is free for participants and spectators, so you’ll get exactly what you pay for. Spectator parking is at the Old Ford Shelton Plant at the corner of Hwy 14 and North Sheldon Rd. and shuttle buses will run all day long to the Inn at St. John’s. LeMons isn’t the only event on Sat., so check out the schedule of events at this link:
